Marlborough Pinot Noir is making a name for its luscious textures, red berry aromatics, and complex, rewarding wines. Sourcing our Pinot Noir fruit from the finest vineyards in the Southern Valley sub-region, this wine is sophisticated, intriguing, and is the perfect accompaniment to BQ meats, nutty cheese, and mushroom dishes.

Full bodied, plush and round, rich dark fruit featuring blackcurrant and plum. Some herbaceous notes, with firm slightly grippy tannins and a persistent long finish.

The palate is generously full and fruity with plush velvety tannins that lead on to a lingering tangy aftertaste. While ready to drink on release we expect this wine to improve for several years and live for well over a decade with careful cellaring.

Upon release the wine is bright ruby in colour. There is a teasing array of vibrant red fruit on the nose including raspberry, pomegranate, cherry and plum. Spice and herbal notes, as well as a savoury underlay, add to the wine's complexity. While the palate has generous fruit weight and velvety tannins, it is balanced with refreshing acidity and a structure that gives the wine classic North Canterbury tension and pinosity.

Since its inaugural 1962 vintage, Penfolds Bin 128 Coonawarra Shiraz has showcased the elegance and character of one of Australia's finest cool-climate wine regions. Sourced exclusively from Coonawarra's famed terra rossa soils over limestone and matured in French oak hogsheads, it offers a striking contrast to the richer, warmer-climate Shiraz styles for which Penfolds is equally renowned. The 2021 vintage reveals lifted aromas of blue fruits, violets and cracked black pepper unfold alongside mulberry, boysenberry and subtle baking spice, while savoury hints of paprika and cured meats add complexity. The medium-bodied palate is finely structured, balancing dark berry fruit with olives, spice and a seamless line of acidity.
