Drawing on history since 1956 and with 502 hectares of vines selected from the best family estates or 'fincas', grown in a continental climate between 350-600 metres above sea with both Atlantic and Mediterranean influences. The dry conditions allow for organic cultivation and the implementation of innovative technology to produce pure, flavoursome, balanced wines that offer outstanding value. This wine is comprised of all of Rioja's classic varieties - Tempranillo 60%, Garnacha 20% and Graciano 20%.

Deep red colour, with garnet reflections. An inviting bouquet of ripe and warm fruits, black berry, marasca cherry, figs and vanilla. It has a smooth, full-bodied flavour and a round, persistent, enveloping aftertaste.
The grapes for this prestigious Primitivo do not get harvested once ripe, but are left on the vine so that their ripening can go on. After about 15 days, grapes are over-ripened and dry out directly on the vine, giving a Primitivo with a complex bouquet of red fruits, raisins and clear hints of marasca cherry. Aged in barriques this Primitivo Appassimento Rinforzato is a wine which remains in your memory for its strong character and great personality.
