A complex dark and brooding wine with aromas and flavours of black fruits, violets and wild thyme.

Aromas of earthy plum, black cherry and liquorice the palate is rich and fleshy with ripe dark fruit and velvety tannins.

Fragrant with cherries, violets and a core of earth and oak, the mineral-tinged fruit seamlessly threaded throughout.

Vibrant floral notes, savoury brown spice and earthy notes on top of a core of red cherry that flows through the aroma. On the palate, supple and layered, bright red cherry notes introduce the wine.

Wild raspberry and red cherry characters dominate while soft sweet brown spice characters add in detail. Savoury red cherry notes lead the wine onto the palate; the wine flows with good texture. Fine elegant tannins rise out of the mid-palate and with wild raspberry notes drive the finish alongside fine acidity.

Dark cherry and wild berry with lashings of savoury brown spice, whilst lavender floral notes add in detail and brightness. Dense, tight, dark berry notes lead into a compact palate. The wine finishes with savoury structural tannins enveloping the wine. Dark cherry flavours flow right through the structure and finish the wine with a flourish.

Produced from Central Otago fruit this is a wine with spicy red fruits on the nose. Medium bodied with red cherry and currant notes on the palate. Enjoy with all manner of duck dishes.

Seductively heady aromas of rose petals, dried cranberry and bright crunchy red cherries. Dried thyme, roasted coffee bean, dark chocolate and just a faint wisp of candle smoke. The palate has flavours of dark plum and chocolate dipped cherries. A spark of bright acidity illuminates the mid palate, carrying through to a finish that lingers long past the last sip.

Bright red berry fruits, lifted florals and vibrant acidity compliment the more traditional Super Nanny characters of dark plum, cherries and toasted spices. Whilst bright and lively on the palate, there is also a pleasingly dense core of black and blue berry fruits, tightly bound by a fine coil of silky tannin ensuring persistence of flavour long after the last sip.

Vibrant red in colour, the nose displays ripe berry characteristics of raspberries and plums. The palate is soft and fruit driven with silky tannins.

Upon release the wine is bright ruby in colour. There is a teasing array of vibrant red fruit on the nose including raspberry, pomegranate, cherry and plum. Spice and herbal notes, as well as a savoury underlay, add to the wine's complexity. While the palate has generous fruit weight and velvety tannins, it is balanced with refreshing acidity and a structure that gives the wine classic North Canterbury tension and pinosity.
